FNH Art Exhibition

FNH Art Exhibition

A very successful day yesterday with over £200 raised. As well as the works of art from local artists, tasty teas and cakes there was also an interesting history walk around the village led by Joe Goddard and in the afternoon a nature walk led by David Scott.

Newton Lane Road Closure

District Councillor Grahame Spendlove-Mason and County Councillor Kevin Feltham are trying to find out more details on the above road closure and the lack of information provided to us about it.

It appears from details on the following website that it is expected to be closed until Friday 6th July.

Commemorative Tree

At the last Parish Meeting it was explained that HDC were offering match funding for Parishes purchasing a bench to commemorate the anniversary of the First World War and the Suffragettes movement. We had agreed that FNH would fund the purchase of a tree instead, Grahame Spendlove-Mason is hopeful that this can now be funded directly by HDC and will follow up on our behalf.
