Commemorative Tree

At the last Parish Meeting it was explained that HDC were offering match funding for Parishes purchasing a bench to commemorate the anniversary of the First World War and the Suffragettes movement. We had agreed that FNH would fund the purchase of a tree instead, Grahame Spendlove-Mason is hopeful that this can now be funded directly by HDC and will follow up on our behalf.

Amazing turn of events at the Reading Room, as described below by Julie Guiver:

In order to make some room in the Reading Room store, it was suggested that the old band chairs were taken to the tip or left on the front so that people could help themselves.
